Our new hardware now includes a built-in RS485 connector, allowing you to easily connect additional devices. Please note any device purchased prior to August 2024 would not have this feature option.

To add devices through RS485 in Stormcloud, follow these steps:

Select the Port:
In Stormcloud, choose the port that your RS485 device is connected to from the dropdown list.

Select the Device Model:
After selecting the port, choose the model of your connected device from the available list.

View Added Device:
Once the device is added, it will appear in the device list as shown below. You can now monitor and manage the device from within Stormcloud.
