Our Droplet comes with a DIN rail mount.

Indoor installation or under the shade is recommended to stay below 40 degrees ambient (60 degrees ambient for a Droplet PLUS).

Some energy providers may require the device to be secured within a screw sealed or hinged lockable enclosure, both IP and UV rated, allowing cable entry from the bottom of the enclosure. If using a Droplet PLUS (4G enabled) ensure you are not using a metallic case/box.

Once you have completed the installation of the solar system and enclosure, you can connect and mount the SGD.

a) Remove droplet from packaging
b) Mount into the Din rail
c) Plug the power supply in micro USB and GPO
d) Connect to internet by plugging an Ethernet cable from the customer’s internet modem/router into the Eth port.
e) Connect meters and inverters from any of the 4 USB ports available
