SwitchDin have two types of Droplets, the residential version, called Droplet ONE and the utility version, called Droplet PLUS.

At a software level both devices are the same. 

At hardware level, the Droplet PLUS is IP rated to support stronger weather conditions although we will always recommend indoor mounting when possible. The Droplet PLUS also has:
- 4G connection in case there's no local customer Internet router available nearby. Sim card port accessible externally, no need to open the Droplet which would void your warranty.
- 2 Ethernet ports
- 3 USB ports (instead of 4 ports with the Droplet ONE, and the older Droplet PLUS version)
- No WiFi capability
